Century of Progress Exposition


The theme of technology as hero appeared in this promotional film highlighting some of the modernized developments displayed at the Century of Progress Exposition, 1933-1934. Like the Fair itself, the film sought to offer an antidote to the financial and social disruptions of the Great Depression by presenting a vision of technological change as an indicator of progress and a symbol of hope.
