|Motorola Co. in Schaumburg, 1968
Motorola Co.'s new plant in Schaumburg served as an example of the unadorned steel cage that was characteristic of the Second Chicago School of Architecture. Eight years after this photograph was taken, in 1976, the company moved their international headquarters from suburban Franklin Park to a nearby Schaumburg location.
