Commercial Fishermen, Waukegan, 1910
|
Much of the work of commercial fishing involved maintaining the large nets set out in the deeper waters of Lake Michigan. Seen here are men repairing nets at a fishing camp set up at the lakeshore at Waukegan in 1910.
