|
Cabrini high-rises, 1959. The Chicago Housing Authority completed this "Cabrini Extension" in 1958, alongside the Frances Cabrini Homes, which had been built in 1941-42. With the construction of the William Green Homes in 1962, the complex became known as simply "Cabrini-Green."
