Religious services at Beth Moshav Z'keinim (Orthodox Jewish Home for the Aged), 1648 South Albany Avenue, 1964. The home opened in 1903 on the West Side after four years of organizational activity and fundraising, and was one of many Jewish institutions established in the Lawndale neighborhood during succeeding decades. While the home closed later in the century, successor institutions have been established by the Council for Jewish Elderly, founded in 1971.
