Michigan Boulevard Garden Apartments, 1951
|
Philanthropist Julius Rosenwald funded the construction of the Michigan Boulevard Garden Apartments in 1928 for African Americans on the South Side. This 1951 photograph shows several of the buildings and the well-maintained public spaces.
