Garment Workers' Strike, 1910
|
Parade of women supporting strikers on West Jackson Boulevard near Morgan Street, 1910. The United Garment Workers strike began in September of that year and continued until early February of 1911, shortly after an agreement was signed with Hart, Schaffner & Marx but while over 20,000 workers were still on strike against their employers.
