Freiberg's Dance Hall, 1911
|
Dance halls were a familiar part of many communities. In this photo from 1911, Freiberg's Dance Hall, at 20 E. 22nd Street provided a place for residents of its Near South Side neighborhood and visitors arriving on the 'L' to dance.
