Established in 1886, the Luxemburger Bruderbund (Brotherhood) began as a mutual benefit society and political organization, but eventually focused primarily on social needs and maintaining ethnic traditions, including annual Schobermesse (harvest season celebrations). This Schobermesse program book was prepared for the event hosted by the Bruderbund branch (section) in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.
