Celebration of Obon, 1963 | ||||
Japanese Americans celebrated the Buddhist season of Obon (the season of gathering joy) with a parade in Chicago's Old Town area in July 1963. Featured here is an Obon dance group marching with members of Boy Scout Troop 74.
