The carmalized popcorn and peanuts produced in this Cracker Jack factory at 4800 W. 66th Street, along with confections produced by E. J. Brach, Tootsie Roll Industries, Wrigley Co., Curtiss Candy Co., Blommer Chocolate Company, and others, helped to define Chicago as a national center for candy production.
