Round Lake Park, IL
|
Lake County, 37 miles NW of the Loop. This third of a collection of villages to rise alongthe shore of
Round Lake
began as a late-1930s site for inexpensive country residences. Its residents voted to incorporate in 1947 to help meet the need for improved roads and sanitary facilities. Its 2000 population was 6,308.
