Notice of Agreement between Daniel H. Burnham and Merchant's Club of Chicago, 1906 | ||||
This is a marked-up preliminary printed copy of the announcement the Merchant's Club issued to state that their city planning efforts, leading toward development of the
Plan of Chicago, had begun and to help raise funds to support the effort. The markings appear to indicate that most participants have been verified, one person (Franklin MacVeagh) has been removed, and the possibility of involving the Horticultural Society and the Municipal Art League is being considered.
